Scouts Logo History 107th Logo

Formed on the 9th of December 1937, the 107th is the third oldest active Scout Group in Pentland District. As many of our previous members are aware, the 107th has not always been part of Pentland District. Our current District was formed on December 1st 2007 when Merchiston (our previous District) merged with 4 groups from Pentlands and Almond Valley. Merchiston however, was not our first District. It was formed in 1986 when Craiglockhart and Gorgie Districts merged. Craiglockhart District was formed in 1931. On this page you will find several photographs that we have from the Troop's past up to our 75th Birthday Party in 2012.

The fair is to be opened by Treasurer James Miller, and the proceeds will form the nucleus of a building fund to enable the Group to purchase its own headquarters.
