When you have completed eight challenges, at least one from each area, you will be eligable to be awarded the Chief Scout Gold Award. The Chief Scout Gold Aard is the highest award available to Scouts in the Scout Section. All Scouts should aim to complete the award by the time they move to Explorer Scouts.

Uniform Position
The badge should be sewn on to the Uniform on the right side of the chest above the challenge bades. The Chief Scout Gold Award should be stiched below the height of the top of the pocket on the other side of the shirt.
